Character counts
- Description - 350 characters maximum
- Author - no character count

Relevance
Quotes should only be used when they relate closely to the content of a page. Testimonials must be recent, and will need to be updated regularly over time.
Context
Use the line beneath the quoted person's name to provide contextual information, indicating how the quote is relevant. This may simply involve naming their degree or qualification.
Placement
Quotes can be used after a heading, intro text and body text have been established.
Image
A professional-looking image reflects positively on the quality of the content around it. The opposite is true for poor quality images – so always refer to the image guidelines when selecting testimonial photos.
